Data Entry & Office Volunteer

Thursday 6 September 2018
Vacancy type:
Office and administration
Exe Estuary Reserve

What we're looking for

We would not be able to save nature without all the work that goes on behind the scenes in offices across the county. You will assist the current Administrator with entering the data gathered by the reserve volunteers, such as the amount of hours they spend on the reserve, noting and escalating any issues with site visits, amongst other tasks.

The skills you need

Good administrative and communication skills, as well as being computer literate and a confident user of Microsoft Excel. An eye for detail is also desired, and the ability to enjoy working with large volumes of data. You will be able to work on your own initiative unsupervised, but also work as part of a team. An interest in nature and the environment, whilst not essential, is always welcome.

Your time

One half day per week
All year round

What's in it for you?

This is a great opportunity to contribute to the effectiveness of the RSPB's work in the local area, as well as meet new people. The RSPB is an active and exciting conservation charity, the largest in Europe! We can help you gain new skills and develop existing ones, and give you a valuable insight into our work.
