What we're looking for

We are looking for a professional, or good amateur, photographer with a love of nature to build up our library of images of the beautiful Devon reserves, its wildlife and people! We also need photos taking at our many events for advertising purposes.

The skills you need

You'll need an eye for a good picture! Photo editing skills would also be an advantage. You'll need to feel comfortable enough to approach people to ask for their consent for photographs to be taken. You'll need your own photography kit and have what you need to take, upload and store digital photographs yourself. You'll also need to be able to independently access the various reserves. Please see the Aylesbeare Common, Exminster Marshes, Labrador Bay, Isley Marsh, Bowling Green Marsh, Chapel Wood, and Ashill nature reserve webpages on the RSPB website for the accessibility statement.

Your time

Minimum:
No minimum - As much, or as little, as you wish
Duration:
Ongoing
Period:
All year round

What's in it for you?

This is a wonderful opportunity for you to put your skills to use (and the test!), to get your photographs seen and to contribute to the effectiveness of RSPB work. Photo credits are always on any work that's been used so people will see your name. You'll also be getting the chance to work with a friendly team, meet new people and spend time on various reserves across Devon (Aylesbeare Common, Exminster Marshes, Labrador Bay, Isley Marsh, Bowling Green Marsh, Chapel Wood, and Ashill!) There is no minimum time commitment, however much time you are able to give to getting out on the reserves is welcomed.
