Location:

What we're looking for

It's simple fact that the RSPB would not exist without volunteers. They founded the organisation, and have always remained an integral part of the core work that we do. For example, did you know that volunteers make up over 80% of the RSPB's workforce, and that they often take the lead on events, surveying, fundraising and educational projects outside of RSPB reserves? There is already over 1500 volunteers contributing to the RSPB's work in the East of England, but we're always looking for more to help us reach our ambitious targets to save nature in the region. We are now looking for a volunteer who could help us promote our volunteer vacancies, as well as advertise the exciting trips, events and project work lead by our region's local community groups. This role will likely include: - Creating social media posts to advertise regional volunteering vacancies. - Creating posters for reserves to advertise their volunteer vacancies. - Updating the RSPB's profile on external volunteer recruitment websites. - Exploring alternative methods of promoting RSPB volunteer vacancies, and making recommendations on how we take these forward. - Using RSPB social media channels to promote our region's local group events. - Providing advice and support to specific Local Group volunteers on their use of social media, and update / maintain their accounts where necessary. So, if you're feeling particularly creative and have experience using social media, why not get in touch. You could help us find the right volunteers for the right roles, and play a major part in maintaining and expand our operations in the region. You'll also be assisting our local groups to continue to promote nature conservation in their local areas. Help us make a positive impact on nature in Eastern England today!
