What we're looking for

We are looking for friendly volunteers to help us raise vital funds for conservation and enthuse the public about nature by face painting and running fundraising activities in various events throughout the year at Sherwood forest. Within this fun filled role you will be working as part of our Community Fundraising team, helping us to convey the RSPB's message to a wide audience, particularly families and children.

The skills you need

Ideally you will have some experience in face painting and events, if not, we will support you to develop the necessary skills and thrive! Most important of all, you will be creative and enjoy engaging with young people, children and families.

We also have various templates and guides that are easy to follow. - You will receive safeguarding training which will add significantly to your personal and professional skill set. - This post will allow you to build a number of skills while being creative, having fun and meeting lots of new people. - You will be part of a friendly and passionate team within Europe's largest conservation charity, working alongside like-minded people to help save nature! - You will receive free entry into any event at which you are volunteering so that you can enjoy the other activities whilst supporting the RSPB. - Travel expenses will be reimbursed where necessary.
