Come and join our team of volunteers that are creating and maintaining our Facebook page for the Cornwall Team. We are looking for people who have a passion for writing and creating great content!

What we're looking for

Social media is ever changing and always growing. We need someone to help give us a strong presence by engaging and responding to local people and promoting our events activities and stories. We need someone to help with the day to day duties of managing and growing our Facebook page by responding to posts from people and creating great content to share.

The skills you need

An interest in public affairs activities including education work, working with other volunteers, media work and events. You will need to be computer literate, have good interpersonal and communication skills and an enthusiastic interest in birds and wildlife. -Excellent writing skills for a varied audience - A love of Wildlife - An understanding of websites and social media channels. - A knowledge of local tourism - Good research skills.

Your time

Minimum:
As frequently as possible, checking messages (inc. in the evenings) and posting several times a week.

This role can be under taken at home or in the office. Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be reimbursed where necessary. The RSPB speaks out for birds and wildlife, tackling the problems that threaten our environment. We rely upon memberships and donations to fund our work. By volunteering your time and skills, you could make a real difference to the work of the RSPB. Nature is amazing – help us keep it that way.
