We are looking to recruit a Safeguarding expert/consultant to work alongside our Safeguarding and Learning & Development Teams to develop appropriate policies, procedures and trainings for the BirdLife International Partnership and staff to help ensure compliance with good practice. All outputs will need to be in accordance with the standards advocated by Bond who are a coordinating body for UK development NGOs. You will attend an initial safeguarding briefing to understand the RSPB/BirdLife Safeguarding Project. Then, working with our Safeguarding and Learning & Development Teams you will help provide the following outputs: 1. Safeguarding Good Practice Guidelines for the BirdLife Partnership 2. A complementary training programme for the BirdLife Partnership 3. Guidelines and training for Partner Development Officers to monitor the performance of supported BirdLife Partners and other project partners
