What we're looking for

Some of you might have seen Minsmere, our flagship nature reserve on the Suffolk Coast, on Springwatch a few years ago. Many of you will have visited – maybe you visit every year – and have your own personal experiences, as I do, of what makes the magical place so special. Maybe it's the booming bitterns or the soaring march harriers, the adders or the bee-wolves, or just walking down the beach in the sunshine – there's something at Minsmere for everyone to love. But now Minsmere is threatened by the spectre of a new nuclear power plant that EDF Energy is proposing to build right next door. We need everyone who knows, loves and wants to protect Minsmere to spend five minutes adding their voice to our call for EDF to keep it safe by minimising the impacts of the new power plant on this fantastic place.

The skills you need

In the last two months more than 12,000 people have taken the e-action, sending a message to EDF as part of the public consultation that runs until 29 March. We want to reach 15,000 before the consultation closes and we need your help to do it.
