What we're looking for

The RSPB is partnering with idverde, the UK's largest grounds maintenance company, in Charnwood Borough. The aim of this partnership is to conserve biodiversity in parks and green spaces managed by idverde on behalf of Charnwood Borough Councils. To help wildlife in our green spaces, we need to know which species are present. Help us survey the wildlife in Charnwood's green spaces, so we can better conserve them, and to monitor the effectiveness of our conservation efforts.

The skills you need

Flexible and reliable, you will need to have a decent amount of identification knowledge in either birds or insects ... or other! You will need to be reasonably fit (able to walk at least a few kilometres) and happy to work on your own.

Minimum:
1 day a year to longer periods

Flexible, from a week days a month to a few days a

Flexible (depends on taxa)
