What we're looking for

Do you have a love of maps and conservation data? Would you like to help us develop the use of GIS and new technologies in conservation? We are looking for a highly motivated and technically minded individual to help us deliver our mapping, data and app creation services, so that RSPB has impact when presenting our case or telling our stories.

The skills you need

You will need some experience in ArcGIS and data management. Coding in SQL, Python and R is not necessary but would be advantageous. Be able to learn new technologies, have good attention to detail and can spot patterns in data. A strong interest in conservation will be a distinct advantage.

You'll be part of a team of GIS Analysts that provide a technical GIS support service within the Conservation Data Management Unit. You will be gain experience in new technologies such as Drones, AI and Remote Sensing.
