What we're looking for

Join our team of administrators and help keep the office and nature reserve running smoothly. The tasks you will perform will vary but will include: • Promoting volunteer vacancies • Induction arrangements for new volunteers • Monitoring a specific volunteering email address • Keeping First Aid kits complete and up to date • Collating our fortnightly team briefings • Updating the presentation for our visitor centre screen • Data entry You will play a crucial role in keeping our records up to date and helping the team to achieve their objectives. There will be plenty to keep you busy.

The skills you need

You'll need to be confident using computers, especially MS Excel and Word. You will also need good organisational skills and an eye for detail. You'll need to be a good communicator, happy to pick up the phone or write emails when needed.

Notes

All the necessary training and background information will be provided and we will cover your travel expenses. You will be able to choose when you prefer to volunteer (during office hours: Tuesday to Sunday 9am to 5pm)
