What we're looking for

RSPB Ham Wall, a part of the Avalon Marshes, is a rich patchwork of reedbeds, wet scrub and open water located about 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Glastonbury. This special area is a haven for wildlife throughout the year including booming bitterns, stunning starlings and dazzling dragonflies. Following the Covid19 pandemic and national lockdown this role has been created to enable the reopening of the Visitor Welcome Building in a Covid19 secure environment. Your role will involve setting up the catering operation for the day, serving drinks and light snacks to visitors.

The skills you need

You will be friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic and confident in talking to visitors and serving them with refreshments including the preparation of hot drinks. You will provide an excellent customer service and experience and remain calm in a busy environment. You must be willing to undertake necessary training and including safeguarding, GDPR, PCI-DSS compliance and customer service training.
