What we're looking for

We are seeking Committee Members with a wide diversity of backgrounds and interests to support our mission to save nature in Wales. We want to connect and inspire many more people in Wales to care about and take action for nature in their communities. We work in partnership to deliver projects on the ground that show how we can restore nature at scale and offer hope in tackling the climate and nature emergency. If you have skills, experiences and/or passion for this mission, we are keen to hear from you.

The skills you need

We are looking for passionate individuals who are willing and interested in committing their time, thoughts and energy to the environmental movement and able to champion the values and mission of the RSPB. We welcome applications from all sections of our community, (including people who have never been involved with charity governance before), particularly if they can demonstrate skills and experience in one or more of the following areas?: • Engaging with younger people • Agriculture • Business and industry • Community engagement • Fundraising and income generation • Communications and media

Your time

This is a voluntary position which will require at least 5 days of time a year and up to 10 days if you are able to give more time.
The appointments are usually for 5 years.

What's in it for you?

Be part of an ambitious and innovative organisation whose vision is for a world richer in nature, in which all people live well in harmony with nature. You will get the opportunity to visit RSPB nature reserves and projects. You will expand your network through discussions with staff, volunteers and other Committee Members from different walks of life and areas of Wales.
