What we're looking for

Closing Date - 19 July 21 At the RSPB we are passionate about young people and about nature. Our youth groups have the potential to play a really important role in local communities, offering young people regular opportunities to get to know the wild places close to them and to be supported by enthusiastic adult volunteers.

The skills you need

You need to enjoy working with young people and have some experience of doing this as well as an interest in wildlife. You don't need to be an expert but be willing to learn and have energy and enthusiasm about nature which you can share with young people. Lead or help lead fun environmental games and activities for young people which will encourage them to explore the natural world and help them to develop a concern for the environment. We will provide you with ongoing support in your role where needed. Ability to communicate with young people Ability to work in a team. Be able to meet every month

Your time

Up to 10-12 meetings a year,
All year round
