Chris Packham’s UK Bioblitz Campaign 2018

Join the #WeWantWildlife citizen science revolution

This July, Chris and his team of experts will be visiting 50 wildlife sites across the UK to highlight the extent to which the nation’s wildlife is under threat.

What’s a Bioblitz?

A Bioblitz involves finding and identifying as many species of wildlife as possible in a specific area over a short period of time.

The Bioblitz campaign has a scientific purpose, and the results of this 2018 survey will be recorded to create a benchmark to help measure the rise and fall in numbers of different species in the future.

It's also a great way for you to Do a wildlife survey and be on your way to aWild Challenge award!

“I want the 2018 UK Bioblitz Campaign to be a detailed and complete wildlife audit, a ten day snapshot of the state of our wild places and what lives there.”
