How to get here 

  • Nearest railway station at Penzance, 2 miles (3 km) away. Taxi rank, with accessible taxis
  • Nearest bus stop, Marazion, 40 m away. First Services 2, 7 and 8 and Sunset 'Bay2Bay' service number 340
  • By road, from Penzance railway station, head east along Chyandour Cliff and A30 to heliport roundabout. Take third exit. Go straight across roundabout and through Longrock. At mini-roundabout, take second exit to Marazion. At the railway bridge T-junction, bear right and head along the sea front, turning left down the minor road after 500 m. About 30 m along this road on the right is a private car park. The reserve entrance gate is opposite.

Nature trails

  • None.

Viewing facilities

  • Viewing bay inside the Cornish hedge on seafront pavement overlooking the 'Sanctuary Area' pools and reedbeds. No seating
  • Viewing area overlooking the front of the reedbed. Accessed by surfaced path from entrance gate. Perch seat without backs or arms
  • Seats along public footpath.

Toilets and baby changing facilities

  • Nearest public toilets, including accessible and baby changing facilities, in Penzance. 

Catering

  • Nearest refreshments, including hot food, at seafront cafe and pub and in Marazion town.

Picnic area

  • No picnic area.
