Our members enjoy birdwatching in an area that has wide variety of habitats. The group tries to arrange both outdoors & indoor meetings on a regular basis.
The aim of the group is to enable people who have an interest in birdwatching to share their experience with like-minded people.
We arrange a varied programme of field trips & indoor meetings for all to enjoy & participate in.
We allow newcomers to the area & persons who have only recently acquired an interest in birdwatching to gain local knowledge of the area that will allow them to relate habitat to species.
The field meetings are very informal & do not require that persons participating have expert knowledge. The Novice is just as welcome as the Expert to share the experience of birdwatching.
The field meetings are usually within the local vicinity, with others further afield either by coach or car sharing.
