There are picnic benches located on all trails. The picnic bench at the carpark is adapted for wheelchair users.

There are two hides on the Invertromie trail, 250 and 350 m from the car park with steps, narrow doorways and fixed seating.
Please note the Lookout hide is currently closed due to fire damage.
Three nature trails: Invertromie, 3 miles (4.5 km), Lynachlaggan, 1.5 miles (2.5 km) and Loch Insh Woods, 1.25 miles (2 km).
All trails run across soft and uneven ground and are unsurfaced and narrow in places.
A field teaching service is available for nursery, primary and secondary aged children from local schools and groups. Programmes are tailored to suit group requirements.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
There is no visitor centre here and this reserve does not have any staff on site.
There is no cafe or shop here, the nearest place for food and drinks is in Kingussie, around 1.5 miles away. We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.
Restrictions
RSPB Scotland welcomes responsible access, in line with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. During the ground-nesting bird breeding season (1 April to 15 August) and in areas with livestock, we would ask that you keep your dog on a short lead and clean up after them.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of the reserve.
