Visitors are invited to take part in exciting ‘Saltmarsh Safari’ events at RSPB Marshside nature reserve in Southport this summer.
Taking place on Sunday 28 July and Sunday 11 August, the events aimed at adults, get closer to a whole host of fascinating creatures that call the marsh home. RSPB experts will provide special equipment for discovering the insects living in the grass and mud, and will guide participants through this unique tidal habitat to explore the often hidden world of the bugs, mammals and birds that live there.
Both walks will take place from 11am-1pm and cost £5 per adult (£4 RSPB members). Suitable, outdoor, waterproof clothing and footwear is required. Booking essential by phoning the RSPB Ribble Discovery Centre on 01253 796292.
