Reserve Closure
Some of our facilities will be closed on 18 September for an all staff meeting. The reserve trails will be accessible to visitors. Please check locally for more details. All facilities will reopen as normal on Thursday 19th September.

For Boyton there is free parking at entrance of reserve.
For Hollesley the car park is clearly signposted from the entrance of the reserve.

The reserves are linked and accessed by a linear public footpath (part of the Suffolk Coasts and Heaths path), each approximately 0.75 mile (1 km) mile in either direction An information board at both sites’ entrance. No further signposts. The path is grassy, uneven in places, narrowing in width to 0.9m in places. It can be wet and muddy depending on time of the year and weather conditions.
The only significant gradient is gentle slope up and down to the seawalls at either reserve (approx 5m rise over 3m).
Boyton has one park bench. No formal seating at Hollesley Marshes.
There is no visitor centre here.
There is no cafe or shop here. Nearest refreshments, including hot food 8 miles away at Woodbridge. We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
Restrictions
Dogs are only allowed on public footpaths and bridleways.
Assistance dogs welcome at all times.
