Let your adventure begin

Bring your family to one of our nature reserves with a Big Wild Summer trail and you’ll be sure to have a wild time.

Our Big Wild Summer activity pack (just £3.50) is packed full of things to find and listen out for on the trail, including a nature scavenger hunt and a wildlife spotter. There are also fun things you can do when you stop for lunch or get home, plus a pencil and certificate for completing the trail.

At some of our nature reserves, you can pick up a picnic to take with you, plus you will get 10% off in the RSPB shop in-store or online.

Look out for special Big Wild Summer events on some of our nature reserves too, from discovering amazing moths to sleeping outside, all in a COVID-secure environment.

Help protect our wild places

As part of Big Wild Summer, you’ll have the chance to experience our nature reserves and see first-hand how we’re transforming places into vital homes for wildlife. Sadly, much of the UK’s wildlife is in decline, but we’re working hard to reverse these declines and you can help. Join today as family members and you will protect these special places for nature, plus get free entry to our nature reserves and wildlife magazines for all the family.
