What we're looking for

Actively approach visitors to see if they need any advice or are interested in buying any of our binocular and telescope products Set up tables/marquees displaying our products Keep up to date with optics information provided by retail staff Provide up to date product information to visitors Be aware of RSPB profit margins and which ranges we aim to sell (when possible) Be aware of the optics ordering process so you are able to advise customers on stock orders Maximise sales with add on products To ensure the security of our products by not leaving displays/marquees unattended

The skills you need

To enjoy working with people and have excellent customer care skills You need to be confident in handling money, be accurate, reliable and friendly as well as being presentable A willingness to learn about the different binocular and telescope ranges in order to be able to advise and sell to customers. Good general fitness for carrying crates of stock and helping set up marquees The ability to work unsupervised but also as part of a wider retail team
