What we're looking for

We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable birders who can deliver a first class customer experience through our guided walks programme. Guided walks are an important part of our planned live interpretation aimed at novice birders, wildlife enthusiasts, experienced birders and non-birders alike.

The skills you need

You must have sound knowledge of birds, bird behaviour and habitats and be able to identify common species at Titchwell. You will enjoy working face to face with the public and be able to lead walks of up to ten people. You should be fit enough to lead walks up to 3 miles in length. A sense of humour is helpful!

Your time

Half a day per week
All year round

This role is an excellent way to inspire visitors and we have a considerable number of people who return year after year to take part in our guided walks.

Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be reimbursed where necessary. The RSPB speaks out for birds and wildlife, tackling the problems that threaten our environment. We rely upon memberships and donations to fund our work. By volunteering your time and skills, you could make a real difference to the work of the RSPB. Nature is amazing – help us keep it that way.
