What we're looking for

We require a volunteer to assist with the general maintenance of the reserve visitor centre, surrounding grounds and hides to ensure that visitors are met with a clean, tidy and well presented reserve. In addition practical work on the reserve will include various tasks including fencing, burning willows and small surveys.

The skills you need

Enthusiasm and an interest in conservation are essential. An ability to carry out general maintenance tasks such as cutting grass, painting signs, and basic gardening are required. A good level of fitness is essential. You will need an up-to-date tetanus injection and to enjoy working in a team.
