What we're looking for

We are seeking volunteers to give a warm welcome to our visitors at weekends and during the school holidays. If you are enthusiastic about nature and wildlife, are comfortable talking to members of the public and are willing to help visitors get the most out of their visit please get in touch!

The skills you need

You will be outgoing and friendly, confident to initiate conversations and able to work well within a team. You may have a previous sales or customer service background. You will be willing to learn about the benefits of RSPB membership.

Your time

Minimum:
Minimum 1 day per month, 10am-3pm
Duration:
March-October
Period:
Weekends and weekdays, minimum 5 hours per session

Notes

Volunteers play a major role in the work of the RSPB and we regard volunteers as a very important part of the success of our reserves. We will ensure you receive all the training and support needed for you to enjoy volunteering at Middleton Lakes. You may be expected to work outside in all weather conditions.
