What we're looking for

We're looking for someone to help us improve the site for our many visitors by carrying out practical jobs around the reserve such as putting up signs, painting, fixing broken benches, making nest boxes and display stands. If you have a creative streak and perhaps have a skill such as routing that would be fantastic though not essential!

The skills you need

Good at fixing and making things? Competent, practical & creative? Like working as part of a team as well as independently? Have your own transport and happy to travel between Dove Stone & Tintwistle? This could be an opportunity for you...

Your time

One day every 2 weeks initially
All year round

What's in it for you?

This is a chance to be involved with the RSPB/United Utilities partnership at Dove Stone – a beautiful site in the Peak District National Park. You will have the chance to be part of the busy Dove Stone team of staff and keen volunteers and you will be making a valuable contribution to the visitor experience while putting you creative & practical skills to good use.
