What we're looking for

Here at Frampton Marsh we put on a range of family activities during school holidays. We'd like your help to ensure that events run smoothly and that attendees enjoy themselves. You can help convey the RSPB's message to a wide audience, especially families with children.

The skills you need

Great communication skills and the ability to be able to share your enthusiasm for wildlife with people of all ages, especially children. Some basic knowledge of wildlife is useful for pond dipping and bug hunting, but we can teach you.

You will be ensuring that the visitors, and the children especially, get a really positive experience on a nature reserve and attempt to fire up their enthusiasm for nature conservation. You will be part of a friendly teams based at the Frampton Marsh reserve, with regular social events. This would be a great role for someone looking to gain experience for a career in teaching or childcare.

Notes

Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be re-imbursed up to 25 miles. You will be asked to provide references which will be checked, one of which must be able to comment on your suitability to work with children. The RSPB speaks out for birds and wildlife, tackling the problems that threaten our environment. We rely upon memberships and donations to fund our work. By volunteering your time and skills, you could make a real difference to the work of the RSPB. Nature is amazing – help us keep it that way.
