What we're looking for

Our local groups play a vital role, supporting the work of the RSPB locally through fundraising, events, education and much more, as well as providing a focal point for interested people to meet. The Renfrewshire RSPB Local Group has been running for over 27 years. It is a dynamic group with an increasing membership. The Local Group is a great place to meet friendly, like minded people whilst learning more about birds and wildlife. Whether you are a novice or an expert everyone is given a warm welcome. We have monthly indoor meetings and twice a month outdoor meetings with the occasional coach trip and long weekend holidays. However as everything in nature needs to change to keep evolving, so does our group. The group is run by a committee of volunteers and we are looking for new committee members to help us continue to develop the group to move forward for another 27 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to assist the leader for our local group in the Renfrewshire area who acts as a conduit between the group and the RSPB. You will both be supported by our Volunteering Development Officers, and a dedicated local committee. Our network of over 160 RSPB local groups are ambassadors for the RSPB in the local community, supporting our work
