What we're looking for

We are looking for volunteers to help us raise money to save nature. Unfortunately 15% of species recorded in the UK are at risk of becoming extinct. With your help, we can help threatened species in the UK. The money raised from street and store collections are vital to their success. 3 volunteered hours can make a huge difference to wildlife in the UK.

The skills you need

You need to be cheery, and polite, Happy to stand or sit for long periods A little bit of knowledge about the RSPB (but don't worry, we can cover most of it) Good with money and counting. Timekeeping

What's in it for you?

This is an enjoyable opportunity to get out and about, To meet people and to chat to them about the work of the RSPB. You can volunteer on your own or with a friend. Or perhaps there are is a group of you that can do a collection? Which ever the way you would like to be involved, we would love to hear from you! Full support will be given and we can help you gain skills and give you valuable insight into our work.

No knowledge of birds required! Appropriate training, equipment and friendly support will be provided. Expenses will be re-imbursed as necessary. The RSPB speaks out for birds and wildlife, tackling the problems that threaten our environment. We rely upon memberships and donations to fund our work. By volunteering your time and skills, you could make a real difference to the work of the RSPB. Nature is amazing – help us keep it that way.
