What we're looking for

We organise regular work parties on Farnham Heath to carry out various habitat management and estate work on the reserve. We want volunteer help in the areas of habitat management and reserve maintenance. All tasks are vital for conservation of the site and for retaining good access to, and around the reserve

The skills you need

Enthusiasm and an interest in conservation are essential. No specialist skills are required though a good level of fitness and a desire to work outside is essential. Sometimes, there may be opportunities to use DIY skills. You will need an up-to-date tetanus injection and to enjoy working as part of a team.

Your time

1 day a week (Tuesday and/or Friday)
All year round

What's in it for you?

An opportunity to help with reserve management, become part of a small team and learn about the running of the reserve. A chance to enjoy the reserve. The opportunity to build up skills. This is an excellent chance to make a genuine contribution to wildlife conservation. You will gain a valuable insight into the workings of Europe's largest conservation charity. Specialist wildlife knowledge is not required. We will provide training as required at an appropriate level.
