Visitor Survey volunteer - Leighton Moss and Morecambe Bay

Tuesday 19 July 2016
Vacancy type:
Helping visitors at our reserves
Leighton Moss and Morecambe Bay

What we're looking for

With over 130,000 visitors a year, Leighton Moss is a very busy site. We aim to deliver first class customer care at all times, as well as giving an outstanding home to nature. We are looking for someone to ask our visitors about their experience of the RSPB and how much they have enjoyed their visit – or not. The information helps us monitor where visitors come from, why they visit, what they think of the facilities and is also used to support grant funding. We gather this information from the completion of a standard questionnaire provided by our head office. We would require you to approach visitors in a friendly and persuasive manner, asking them to complete and return the form. These are then collated and dispatched for processing. RSPB membership really is the lifeblood of the Society and underpins every single thing we do. It helps us fund nature conservation work here and across the UK - not only the ongoing land management of our reserves but also by creating and enhancing magnificent wild spaces for nature and people to enjoy. It is therefore important that you can inspire people about the work we do and warm them up to the idea of membership.
