What we're looking for

We are looking for someone to help us recruit and manage a team of highly motivated volunteers to assist us with our work. You will help us ensure all volunteers have a rewarding and enjoyable time whilst volunteering with the RSPB. The role will involve many aspects of volunteer coordination such as: Updating the volunteer database Update online advertisements Responding to volunteer enquiries pulling together volunteer induction packs Ordering name badges and uniform Helping deliver inductions You will be part of a team of 4, led by our lead coordinator who will provide support and direction.

The skills you need

An outgoing personality, good organisational and communication skills, an ability to lead/inspire others and work as part of a team. Tact and diplomacy are also an advantage. An enthusiasm for, and knowledge of, birds and other wildlife is beneficial but not essential. Computer/database/website skills an advantage.
