Contracts Data Administrator

Thursday 14 December 2017
Vacancy type:
Office and administration
RSPB Headquarters

What we're looking for

We are in the process of establishing an online database that encompasses all our suppliers and associated contracts. This will greatly improve our ability to manage our suppliers, making sure we are getting best value for money, and minimising any commercial risk. This will help us ensure the maximum amount possible is used to benefit wildlife

The skills you need

Other than strong English skills – to be able to approach some fairly impenetrable legal documents! – all you need is some basic computer skills and the ability to work unaided.

Your time

One day per week
Until completion

What's in it for you?

The chance to be integral to the implementation of a significant software package, as well as an insight into the back-end workings of a multi-national conservation charity. Gaining experience in understanding legal contracts, information management skills, data entry and extraction skills. Also gaining an insight into supplier and contract management and using IT to maximise the use of the data associated. The project is joint initiative between Procurement (in the Finance Department) and IT, so would be ideal for anyone with an interest in either area.
