What we're looking for

Are you a natural leader who knows how to motivate a team to succeed and has a few hours to spare each month? Will you bring your love for the natural world to life to engage your team to inspire donations and give our supporters the best customer service? You will manage and oversee a team of volunteers who will promote our fundraising pin badges and collections, raising vital funds for our conservation work across Abernethy & Insh Marshes.

The skills you need

You will be a good motivator, friendly and outgoing and enjoy meeting people, in short you will be happy managing and supporting other people in their volunteering role with the RSPB. You will also have a high level of motivation, good communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer (including knowledge of Microsoft) and an ability to work on own initiative. A full driving licence is essential. You will be responsible for managing and supporting a team of local volunteers looking after pin badge boxes/ collecting boxes. You will provide appropriate support and resources to these volunteers and ensure they have all they need to look after their pin badge boxes/collecting boxes and maximise income from these for the RSPB.

No knowledge of birds required! Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be reimbursed where necessary.
