What we're looking for

There is something for every visitor on Sherwood's event timetable, from the massive Robin Hood Festival to seasonal nature walks to hands on experiences. We are looking for volunteers to join our event crew to help these activities run smoothly. On event days there will be more visitors to manage and tasks to be completed. As a member of the event crew, you could be helping direct visitors, setting up equipment or tidying away afterwards. This is a flexible role, so if you can't commit to a regular day, this might be one for you. Main tasks: Setting up and taking down equipment, e.g.. event signage and marquees Litter picking and keeping the site looking tidy at big events Marshalling to help visitors find out where to go Helping the car park assistants when it gets busy Handing out simple activities and providing information about the event

The skills you need

Friendly and approachable personality Helpful disposition, happy to take on different duties depending on the need Organised and calm under pressure Willingness to deal with litter and bins Comfortably working in a busy environment
