What we're looking for

RSPB Dungeness nature reserve is a wonderful setting to volunteer, set back from the sea, boasting mile after mile of open shingle, fresh water pits, wet grassland and stunning wildflower meadows. Volunteers are an essential part of our overall workforce who directly contribute to the vital conservation work at Dungeness. We're looking for a volunteer with enthusiasm, experience & knowledge in the maintenance and repair of machinery to keep our equipment essential for reserve management e.g.. brush cutters, vehicles and pumps.

The skills you need

Experience in mechanics, preferably agricultural, but not essential. Good communication skills. An interest in conservation issues would be useful but not essential
