What we're looking for

The RSPB is a conservation charity working to protect our environment. In Northern Ireland, we are working with colleagues throughout the UK to ensure there is no weakening of our nature protection on leaving the European Union. To this end, we need you to work on and help with our review of all the proposed changes to existing EU derived environmental legislation as part of the Brexit process.

The skills you need

Do you have/or working towards a qualification as a barrister or solicitor or a course which has a legislative element e.g planning, and an interest in ecology, sustainable development, environmental studies/issues and birds? Have you: * Good organisational skills and attention to detail * Previous experience with reviewing legislation would be beneficial but not specifically required * Good communication skills * The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative * The ability to take guidance * Experience in Microsoft Word and Outlook YES then read on we may have the ideal volunteer opportunity for you

Your time

Minimum:
One to two weekdays per week

Until legislation passed into law

Upon publication of NI draft Statutory Rules
