What we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a small team managing the RSPB's popular Inspiring Nature calendar competition. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a keen interest in nature and wildlife photography to help facilitate the competition process. The successful candidate will manage the competition inbox, download all entries and catalogue them accordingly. The successful candidate will work with the RSPB's Product team to shortlist entries that will progress to the final round of judging. Twelve winning images will then be selected which will be featured in the RSPB's Inspiring Nature 2021 Calendar.

The skills you need

The successful candidate will need good communication skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Outlook, Word, Excel) They will be expected to work independently although, full training will be given. The successful candidate should have the ability to perform administrative tasks including but not limited to, contacting competition entrants. The successful candidate must have good time management skills. An interest in and knowledge of conservation and the natural world as well as wildlife photography would be preferable although, not necessary.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shortlisting images for the RSPB's Inspiring Nature calendar and ensuring that this project is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. This is a fun and engaging project with the added benefit of delivering a calendar that will help the RSPB raise valuable income and increase brand awareness.
