What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills to help the volunteering team manage enquiries from wonderful people like you who want to donate their time and skills to the RSPB by becoming a volunteer. We regularly receive volunteering enquiries from people offering their professional expertise, skillset and experience. We need someone to help us by: - Responding to enquiries - Arranging follow up phone calls or video meeting with the prospective volunteer - Updating the skills database so internal staff can see information about potential volunteers - Respond to internal enquiries from about volunteers and share information about individuals with staff As an important member of our team, we'll make sure that you are invited to share your thoughts and ideas about our recruitment and enquiry process and adapt and change accordingly; there will be room to develop within this role if you wish.

The skills you need

Ideally we are looking for someone with recruitment and talent matching experience, if this is you please do get in touch. However, we'd also really like to hear from you if you enjoy working with people and have experience in working with people from a range of different backgrounds. Excellent communication skills is really important as you'll need to be comfortable talking to staff and volunteers. Good IT skills, experience using Office software and video calling platforms such as Zoom.
