What we're looking for

Our RSPB Edinburgh Local Group is looking for volunteers to support them with the day to day running of group affairs. They are a large and active Group covering the Edinburgh and Lothians area with a monthly programme of indoor meetings running from September to April and run outdoor activities and wildlife watching trips. Currently we are looking for a Membership Secretary and General Secretary to join our friendly and welcoming committee to continue to help encourage everyone in the area to save nature.

The skills you need

To be friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing, and have a willingness and ability to help with one or more of the varied activities of our RSPB Edinburgh Local Group. We have a regular programme of events and activities from September through to April and just need a few new people to help. Find out more about us at

These roles are an opportunity to meet like-minded people in your local area while learning more about the RSPB and wildlife. Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be re-imbursed where necessary. The RSPB is the UK charity working to secure a healthy environment for birds and wildlife, helping to create a better world for all of us. We belong to BirdLife International, the global partnership of bird conservation organisations. Your time and skills could make a real difference to the work of the RSPB and it would be great if you could join us.
