What we're looking for

A gift in memory to the RSPB will help give nature a home, while continuing the memory of loved ones – forever. There are many ways to remember someone special, and each one is unique and important. Continuing to support the birds and nature loved ones cared about could be just one way to cherish their memory. We've been giving nature a home, on reserves and the wider countryside for over 130 years. Giving a gift in memory of a loved one can be a source of comfort, to know that even after they're gone, the nature they loved will still have a home. One of the ways to remember someone special is with an inscription in one of our five Books of Remembrance held on RSPB reserves. These reserves are The Lodge, Leighton Moss, Conwy, Minsmere, Loch Leven, Abernethy and Pulborough Brooks. The Books of Remembrance have been offered for many years now, and some reserves onto their third book of inscriptions. The books are a traditional and popular way for supporters to donate to the charity in remembrance of their loved ones. We would like to explore the beauty of calligraphy and offer this art for new inscriptions in these books. We feel it will look far superior to anything else and create an authentic in memoriam message for our supporters. The kind and generous in memory donations help to make our charitable aims possible.

What's in it for you?

The RSPB is an active and exciting conservation charity, the largest in Europe! We can help you gain skills and give you a valuable insight into our work. You will join the friendly and dedicated Legacy Marketing team and work closely with your local Legacy and In Memoriam Advisor. We would be really keen for you to join our monthly team meetings online so we can get to know each other better and connect you to the wider work we do. If restrictions allow and we are close enough, we could meet in person and arrange reserves visits so you can see your work in person and enjoy getting out into nature.
