Old Curiosity Gin
Inspired by nature to raise a glass for the RSPB
After a botanical expedition to our Forsinard reserve, Old Curiosity Distillery founder Hamish Martin was inspired to develop Wild, a new gin that incorporates the character and flavours of herbs found on our restored peatland habitats in the far north of Scotland. Each bottle sold supports the RSPB’s work to restore these blanket bog habitats.
The Old Curiosity Distillery can be found amongst the apothecary roses and other wild botanicals at the Secret Herb Garden, an award-winning herb nursery, shop and café where all herbs distilled in the gin are grown free of chemicals.
LOFA (Leisure & Outdoor Furniture Association)
LOFA and RSPB planting native trees together in the UK
The Leisure & Outdoor Furniture Association will be donating £5 for every visitor who attends their SOLEX 2021 Exhibition at the NEC in July 2021.
The RSPB will use these vital funds to plant over 2000m2 of native broadleaf woodland in the Wood of Cree, Scotland. These trees will ensure the Celtic forest will have the strength to survive into the future, store carbon to protect the climate, and provide a home for Red Squirrels, Otters and thousands of songbirds.
