The nature trail follows a well surfaced path and accessible boardwalks, suitable for wheelchair users. All of the gates on the reserve are designed to be easy to open.
There are two benches and two resting perches along the circular discovery trail and further seating in the viewing screen.

There is currently no designated parking for the reserve but there is limited parking in the small car park at the junction of Bowhouse Road and Riverside View. The postcode for sat-navs is FK10 1BZ. This is a residential area, so please park responsibly.
It is a 650m path from the car park to access the reserve. This path is suitable for wheelchair users and is level with a slight slope at one point.
There are two wooden deer gates which are heavy and could be difficult to open. The RSPB is in the process of replacing these with metal gates which will be much more accessible.
There are no toilet facilities on site. The nearest toilets are in supermarkets in Alloa.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
There is no cafe or shop here, the nearest places for food and drinks are in Alloa around two miles away.
We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.
Restrictions
You are welcome to walk your dog at Black Devon Wetlands, however, it is a nature reserve.
You can help us by keeping your dog under close control, especially during the bird breeding season and removing your dog waste and taking it home, thank you.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of the reserve.
