When travelling on A2 (Dover bound) take the exit Canterbury/Harbledown/A28.
At the lights, turn left onto Palmers Cross Hill.
Continue onto Rough Common Road.
After half a mile on your left you will see a road island with a bus top in the middle. Above this is a brown sign marked ‘Blean Woods Nature Reserve’. Follow the sign up a wooded track and you will reach the car park.
Buses run regularly from Canterbury Bus Station to Rough Common Road. Both the 400 and 401 services will take you to the door step of the reserve in 15-20 mins.
If travelling from Whitstable Town Centre, the 400 and 401 will take 20-25 mins.
The nearest train station is Canterbury West. Upon leaving the train station head South on Station Road West. At the roundabout turn right onto Whitstable Road.
After 1.4 miles turn left onto Rough Common Road.
In around 0.5 miles you will see a bus stop on a road island with a brown sign marked ‘Blean Woods Nature Reserve’. Follow the sign up a wooded track and you will reach the car park.
