About

Wombwell Ings is a small conservation site with beautiful views to the village of Darfield. It's linked to our Old Moor reserve, which is just a short drive or cycle away.

Horses graze the grassland at Wombwell Ings, whilst the main pool is home to wildfowl and wading birds. With a footpath circling the reserve, it's the perfect place for a walk at any time of year.

There is a hide on the south side of the reserve with views of the main flash. It also looks back over the Garganey Trust's excellent Broomhill Flash nature reserve.
