You are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on your visit. There is a picnic bench on a hard level gravel surface which can be accessed from the car park.

Karen's Viewpoint - is a great place to spot the special wildlife here and offers outstanding views over Hesketh Out Marsh and the Ribble Estuary beyond. There is a bench without back or arms. Three benches are spaced along the east (right) seawall towards the River Douglas.
