Our car park is open for scheduled public events and to interest groups who wish to book in advance.
Our car park will be closed and locked outside of these times. Please get in touch if you’d like to make a pre-arranged group visit.
Pedestrian access is open 24 hours a day.

You are welcome to bring a picnic with you to enjoy on your visit. There are no picnic tables, but there are benches near to the car park for use. Help keep this place safe and special for wildlife and people by taking your litter home with you.
Our small hide can be found 150m from car park. Lowered viewing slot and moveable seating. Step-free level access and surfaced path to hide.

Public footpath between Highnam and Bulley villages runs through reserve. Some changes in gradient, including significant slopes to west and north.
Permissive paths links the nature trail to the public footpath (via a very steep hill) and the public footpath to the road to the north of the reserve.
All paths are unsurfaced, mown natural grass, which become muddy in wet conditions. No gates, steps or stiles or other width restrictions.
