Bicycle racks are situated close to the visitor centre entrance. No lighting. No formal drop-off point. No height restriction.
There is one accessible toilet, situated 5 meters from the entrance to the visitor centre.

Nature trails access: Three partly-signposted trails (two 400m trails + one 1.5km trail), all flat with no significant inclines. Main trail (1.5km long) is an all-access trail. All prone to flooding.

We stock a wide range of binoculars and spotting scopes, from beginner models to premium optics, along with tripods and accessories. Our team can help you compare different options and find equipment that suits how and where you like to watch wildlife.
Alongside optics, the shop also offers a large range of bird food, feeders, nest boxes, books, and gifts for nature lovers.
Four tables situated outside the visitor centre, 2 of which have single wheelchair space. Visitors are welcome to consume their own food and drink here.
Binocular hire is available daily from 10am, to be returned 15 minutes before the visitor centre closing time. Last hire is at 3pm and starts form £7 per day.

Guided Walks
There is generally level access. Two hides with seating. Two viewing screens, one with seating.

Section of main trail is boardwalk with passing places. No gates, steps or stiles on trails. All prone to flooding after heavy rain.

Restrictions
Dogs are allowed on all footpaths in line with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. Well behaved dogs are welcome within the visitor centre. Please keep dogs at heel or on a lead to protect wildlife.
Assistance Dogs welcome in all parts of the reserve.
