No formal drop-off point. No lighting in car park. No height restriction barrier. No overnight parking or camping. Bicycle racks available.
Our accessible toilets are Open daily, 9am-5pm, they are located in the car park. Closed Christmas and Boxing day.
Baby Changing
All of the trails on-site are wide enough for a pushchair, with passing places at regular points.
All of the buildings are pushchair-friendly and there are baby changing facilities located in the toilet block in the car park.
Mostly flat, boardwalks and rolled sand and gravel surface.
Viewing points have ramp or slope access with a mix of large windows.
Both Parrinder Hides are spacious modern and all level and accessible throughout.
Open daily, 9am-5pm. Closed Christmas and Boxing day.
Our visitor centre is located 120 metres from the car park. There is an entrance at the front and back to the visitor centre - both have shallow slopes. The entrance doors are manual, outward-opening light doors without a threshold.
Level, wooden floor throughout. Staff to assist. Limited seating. Good lighting. Information displayed in clear print format and on large screen TV. Children's activity area.
Dogs on leads are welcome in the visitor centre buildings, in order to access the dog-friendly trail across the reserve.

The West Bank Path is 1200metres long. The trail has a hard surface. The trail has seats. There are bird hides along the trail. The path is flat with a surface of rolled sand and gravel. The majority of this trail is flat but there is a short, steep slope over the sea defence bank near the beach.
The path is very rough after the bank, and there is a steep, rough dirt track leading from the main path to the sand dunes. The Fen Trail is 200metres long. The trail has a hard surface. There are bird hides along the trail. There is a firm, flat gravel path leading to a section of boardwalk.
The boardwalk has a non-slip covering and kickboards along the edge. The Meadow trail is 100metres long. The trail has a hard surface. Boardwalk with a non-slip covering and kickboards along the edge. Some of the East Trail has a loose surface.
We have a selection of hot and cold snacks, cakes, ice creams and hot and cold drinks available. Step-free entry through double doors to covered eating area. Level throughout. Non-slip flooring. Seating with tables and chairs. High chair available. Colour-contrasted crockery. Staff available to assist. Nearest accessible toilet is 120 m from café in the car park.
Our picnic area is located between the car park and the visitor centre and we have a number of other benches around the reserve. There are also picnic tables in our visitor centre courtyard area, which are wheelchair accessible.
Our hides and viewpoints are a great place to spot the special wildlife here and offer outstanding views over the reserve, reedbeds, saltmarshes and freshmarsh.
South Parrinder, North Parrinder, Island and Fen hides are open. The rich variety of wildlife living here, along with the beautiful reserve landscape, can also be enjoyed from our trails too.
Our viewing screen at Patsy’s reedbed is also open daily. Ramp or slope access leads to low level seating with open shelf and places for wheelchair use.

Our popular RSPB binoculars are available to hire on your visit: £7 RSPB Avocets. £10 RSPB Harrier (all day hire). RSPB Harrier 65mm telescope & tripod - £40.00 per day, or £10.00 per hour.
We run an exciting programme of guided walks and other events throughout the year.
School groups are welcome by appointment. Guides and activity leaders can usually be arranged on request. Self-led trail sheets and activity sheets that support Key Stage 1-4 learning objectives are available. Please email us titchwell@rspb.org.uk or phone 01485 210779.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
Restrictions
Dogs on leads are welcome on the West Bank Path, which is a public footpath.
No dogs are permitted on Fen Trail, East Trail, Meadow Trail and Autumn Trail other than assistance dogs. This is to minimise disturbance to wildlife.
Dog water bowl available in the courtyard of the visitor centre.
Dog waste bins available in the car park and at the top of the West Bank Path.
Dogs are welcome in the welcome hub and shop.
Please keep your dogs on a lead at all times, including the beach, to minimise disturbance to feeding and nesting birds.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of the reserve.
