Get help logging into your RSPB online account with our FAQs.

I’m a member, why don’t I have an account?

When you become a member you don’t automatically get a RSPB online account. But registering for one is quick and easy, just fill in the RSPB online form.

I’m a member, how do I update my address/bank details?

If you have a RSPB online account, you can update your contact details (address, email, mobile and telephone numbers) by logging in to that account.

If you don’t have an existing RSPB online account or want to make any other changes to your membership, such as adding or removing members or updating Direct Debit details, call our Supporter Services team on 01767 693680 or email membership@rspb.org.uk.

I can’t log in to my shopping account

Your online shopping account is different from your main site account. Please visit the online shop login page instead.

If you still can’t access your online shopping account, please email shopping@rspb.org.uk.

I can’t remember my password

You can reset your password from the login page and click on the forgotten password link. You will receive an email containing a secure link to where you can reset your password.

Please note, for security reasons this link will expire within two hours of receiving it.

I want to update my email address

You can update your email address from your profile page. Once you're logged in, click 'Account' at the top of the page to go to your profile page, then update your email address under the personal details tab.

It won’t accept my email address/password

If you enter an incorrect email address or password, you will get an error message; “Invalid email address or password”. Please check you have entered the email address associated with your account and correct password.

I received my confirmation email, but the link doesn't work?

The confirmation link will expire after two hours, the link will open a page stating the link has expired, please request a new link from that page. If the link does not open a webpage, please go to the login page and attempt to login, and you will be given the option to request a new confirmation email.

I have requested a password reset but have not received an email

All emails are sent immediately and should only take seconds to arrive, but this can depend on your email service provider. Try refreshing your email inbox and check the email hasn’t been automatically put in your spam folder.

I have an account but I can't log in

If you haven't logged into your account in two years, it's likely that it has expired. You can set up a new one here.

If you have a shopping or community account you will still need to register for a main site account as they are separate.

I have an account but I can't log in/it says I don't have one

If you haven't logged into your account in two years, it's likely that it has expired. You can set up a new one here.

I’m locked out of my account

If you enter your login details wrong five times consecutively, you will be locked out of your account, it will automatically unlock after 10 minutes and you'll be shown a countdown to unlock.

If you can’t remember your password, please go to the login page and click on the forgotten password link.

I have tried to login and been asked to reset my password

Inactive accounts can become dormant. If so, you will need to reset your password, which will then reactivate your account.

I need to request a new confirmation email

To request a new confirmation email, go to the login page and login with your details. If your account needs confirming you will be resent the confirmation email.

 

I don’t know if I have an account

If you are unsure you have an account, go to the login page and click the password reset link and submit your email address for your account. You’ll then get an email letting you reset your password or telling you that there is no account registered under your email address yet.

I have tried to reset my password but get an error saying; “The reset code could not be used.”

For security reasons, the link in the password reset email expires after two hours. If you use the link after it has expired, or try to use it more than once, you will get an error saying; “The reset code could not be used.”
