Help give nature a voice
Our wildlife and wild places can’t speak for themselves – they rely on us to stand up for positive change. Meeting your MSP is a powerful way to make sure nature has a strong voice in the next Scottish Parliament.
Why meeting your MSP matters
The Scottish election in May 2026 could bring many new MSPs into Holyrood. Once elected, they’ll be busy getting to know their communities and understanding what their priorities are. Nature and climate are already being mentioned on the campaign trail, but we need to see warm words transformed into real action.
Right now in Scotland, one in nine species is at risk of national extinction. Despite its reputation for wild landscapes, Scotland is actually one of the most nature depleted countries in the world. The next Scottish Government must hit the ground running to restore biodiversity and protect vulnerable species.

That’s where you come in.
In the weeks and months after the election, MSPs will be shaping their agendas, and they’ll prioritise the issues their constituents raise with them. By speaking up for nature at this crucial time, you can help ensure it isn’t overlooked.
Taking the time to meet your MSP in person is particularly powerful, as it allows them to see how strongly you feel and understand why action is urgently needed.
When you speak from the heart, they listen.
